Accessibility Statement
Our goal is simple: every visitor, on any device and any connection, can use this website fully. Last reviewed: September 29, 2026.
Our target
We build and evaluate this site against WCAG 2.2 level A and AA criteria. The site uses semantic HTML and real text, with no text baked into images where real text works. It runs on a system font stack and a single lightweight stylesheet, and no page requires JavaScript to read.
Images carry descriptive alternative text, and decorative images are marked as such. Color contrast targets the AA minimum of 4.5:1 for body text, and buttons and links target at least a 44-pixel touch area. The accessibility panel in the corner of the page offers display presets, including high contrast and larger text, and your choice is remembered in your browser only.
How we evaluated this site
- Automated checks across all public pages (W3C Nu HTML validation and automated accessibility checks), with findings resolved or documented.
- Manual keyboard testing: full navigation, form completion, and menu operation with keyboard only, checking focus order and visible focus states.
- Screen reader review of the primary flows (home, a service page, a town page, and the contact form) with a non-visual reading order check.
- Reflow testing at 320 CSS pixels and 200% text zoom, and layout checks at common phone, tablet, and desktop widths.
Evaluation date: September 29, 2026, on the deployed site. We re-test after significant changes and update this statement when the scope of review changes.
Known limitations, honestly stated
- Automated and manual testing covers a lot. It is not a complete audit of every possible assistive-technology combination. We would rather say that than claim a “100%” that implies more certainty than testing can give.
- Conformance here means conformance with the WCAG criteria we tested against, at the evaluation date. It is not a certification and not a guarantee of ADA compliance.
- Third-party content we do not control, for example a video embedded from another platform, may have accessibility behavior we cannot fully govern.
This site currently does not embed third-party video, feeds, or chat widgets, which keeps that limitation largely theoretical for now.
